I gotta get to work!
1st night in Beaver Utah. As we pulled into town my wife just started laughing so I asked what's up she replied there is a Mexican restaurant advertising Beaver Tacos as the special(I'm kinda glad her humor is still 14 year oldish), and then I don't know why but this struck me as funny too. We are now just outside of Vail Colorado
Spent all day making things to give to you fockers.
go help Nate!!!!
Loading up today, rolling in the morning to Jesse's to help finish his truck then heading to Nate's whenever
My truck is pretty much ready to roll, planning on helping out Jesse, probably head to Nate's on Friday Morning.
is @sponsoredbydad still alive?
He should be long gone from Colorado by now. Did not stop to say hi.
Now you guys are making me feel like a selfish prick that im not helping someone get their rig ready
And thanks in advance to everyone coming to help.
Ready to roll in the morning
How far of the 80 are you? Maybe on the way back, and I say maybe because I may not even be able to get back. OK so those Rockies are no joke. The pass and hill climb just before reaching Eisenhower tunnel at 11,112 feet was brutal for that little ole 7.4 pulling way more than it should. Spent Monday nite just inside the Nebraska state limits and today we finally stopped in Des Moines, Iowa. We also made a small detour from the 80 to see Albert the Bull.
That pull up to Eisenhower tunnel is 8 miles. It's a bitch no matter how you cut it
A duramax would of cut it a bit better
I am 2 hours south of the 80. So no dice.
Not sure what the problem iscwith that climb. I run it at 60mph fully loaded.
Does that mean you are turning back chris?
hell no, shit I might have to buy a new truck and trailer to get home but I hear you can get them cheap in michigan
They are guaranteed to be lighter. So would be an easier trip back.
So how far off the 70? is what I meant to say
Lighter, Y less sheet metal ie:rust
