There was more than one trip , so everyone put your pics in here
Here are the only two pictures that got taken Saturday. This is just past top of the world down in Haunted Canyon in the Superstition Wilderness Area. The real trails are past this bridge but i did not go on them. (This is where I discovered my front axle problem and did not feel like taking any more pictures) But I did go on a 6 mile hike with the wife and kids so the trip was not a waste.
Here ya go...
Here's the rest- http://s82.photobucket.com/albums/j255/ksmylftchk/funinthesun/?start=0
Looks like some smokin' trails....!
So Freddly how was it? What did you wheel? I see the pics of Copperhead. Did you make the waterfall without the winch?
Here are some from moab
Here are some more pictures of our trip to Mexico.
its a bird its a pkane its..
how was the landing?
Hey man, We ran Copperhead, and the one (you saw pics of overlooking the lake) that has no name as of yet. It was very difficult for me. With my suspension, there was no way to run the fall on Copperhead without winching. I would have been upside down at the bottom without it. Pics don't do it justice.
Hey Rob keep your hands off the roof. That's how fingers get smashed (ask my wife she knows).
How was the landing? Looks like it would be somewhat smooth with the sand but I know a fullsize flys like a brick as well.
Rob , you are not supposed to do that with six lug axles
.... or even 5 lug axles...
I don't think there was an 8 lug axle in sight.
Actually, he has one of those "velcro on" nylon handle thingy's up there on the cage. You can't see it, but he's not holding on to the rollcage.
Marv's correct, I have an oh $hit handle on the blazer. I know better than to hold onto the rollbar.
Here is how it lands, as Marv put it, I was "ON THE BRAKES" when I landed.
Got too much air and did not get off the brakes when I landed, but no breakage what so ever.
Rob, your big air pics remind me of that time I jumped my Blazer last August or so.
I'll never do it again though
