How much did the EchoBit flip lift the truck? I am thinking about more lift. How does it handle and how do you like it? Thanks
The scariest thing is... the dirtyness of my underside! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
With some ORD 0 rates (1 inch bolt on blocks) the rear sits a tad bit over the front, not too noticible... so I'm thinking 5-5.5 inches of lift for the shackel flip itself.
still don't know how the he11 they got those on...
i am seeing red Xs from every angelfire link out there whats goin on? i wanna see! and yes i copy+pasted, still nothing.
Thats what I'm thinkin, they musta busted out the spring stretcher.... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
if you right clck on the red "X" then copy the link , you can find it on your web link...
Absolutely amazing, but interesting none the less. I'm going to have to add a clause to the instructions of what not to do.
As for the broken images.. I captured them just before they went down...
if your flip didn't break off with that set-up then I don't think anything will bust it. can you imagine the stress on all the moving parts to not move???
I still don't get it, did they chain the truck to the floor and then, pull it down even further with a come along.... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
Hard to imagine anyone doing that. One of the reasons I do most of my own stuff. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Yeah, and it shows how the design doesn't allow rotation, or it would have rotated right off the hanger under that much stress! Strange as it may sound, but the spring eye must have (by chance) lined directly up with the holes in the bracket... I just can't picture anyone fighting to get it on without stopping for a moment and realizing what they were doing. It had to have been an honest oversight installing it that way. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
I wonder what the deal is with Anglefire... i can see the pics fine from my computer... but not this one from school. Weird, eh? But yeah after the shackel was put on right, it rides alot smoother
what is the story behind this? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I want details! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
I had my friend's dad's shop install it, he had his assistant do it, and i guess he [censored] it up. I dind't feel like going back, so I took it to a more trusted shop in my opinion and had them do it right.
ONly reason i don't work on my own stuff is i got no place and no toolz to do it with. Or else I really would, most ive done is installed a locker and it was at my friend's dad's shop. He was nice enuf to let us use space and tools.
