I've come to a little bit of a crossroad with the rear stock spring hangers.
It seems on the older trucks, the bottom bolt on the rear shackle center line to the very bottom of the rear bracket is around 2 1/8".
The newer trucks (not sure what year to call "newer") have around a 1 5/8" distance.
I can't make one flip and call it done as there will be a space under the flat part of the flip to the bottom of the bracket, only on the newer trucks if I make the crossbrace at 2 1/8". If I make the flips with the 1 5/8" space, they won't fit the older trucks at all.
I need some guys here to measure their trucks, tell me the number and what year the frame is. I need to determine whether I need to fab two different flips so they fit older and newer trucks.
I'm not sure if this all sounds clear, so if you don't understand, let me know and I will get a pic of the underside of my '87 K10 and the '74 K5 frame hangers.
