I have them on the truck I just got. Looked all over and I did not find any model # or anything like that. They are also corroding, witch makes if even harder. How do I stop the corrosion? Where should the model # be on the carb and intake?

thanks for the help in advance.

Mike

check edelbrocks website and see if you can match a picture of something from the site to what you have on your truck

Thats one idea. There is no markings on the intake? Just found some # on the carb.

Mike

edelbrock manifolds usually have the model name of thier intakes cast into them. It would probably say something like performer or performer RPM. As far as the carb goes, its usually a 4 digit number like 1406 or 1910 depending on the type of carb it is.

the part# of the intale is on the underside. but it should have a name on top as stated above. if you have a summit racing catalog or aftermarket parts one they are usually pretty good reference if the parts you are lookig at aren't real old. they have the #'s listed that match #'s on parts.

They do look alike. What is a single plenum intake? I know more about diesel then gas motors. thanks

the carb should have a # on lower left where carb mount bolt is viewed from front got that # handy? should start with a 14?? might be 2 #'s

It is a manual choke and the #s are 1405. So what do i have??

thanks
Mike
