Emblems and Trim (Drill or Adhesive?)

I wouldnt drill into sheet metal if it were me.

When I took my emblems off and broke the mounting tab thingys, I used some stuff from work that is pretty wicked. Not sure if its available to every one, but its called CURB MARKER by das. We use it to glue fiber stickers to concrete curbs, so you know its got to be strong to stick to curbs.

Takes a hammer and chisel to remove...wonder what it does to paint?

If that stuff holds for 30 years out in the sun and weather....can anybody think of a downside to using it on fender badges? or would it be overkill?
