engine & xfer case crossmember pics & specs

Hey ya'll,

I am getting ready to build crossmembers for the engine (put in a 454 and the front of the oil pan just touches the stock crossmember) and for the transfercase (700r4 & atlas).

I would appreciate pictures to get ideas for my fabricating. You guys always amaze me at the great ideas that you have.

Please post your pics and what material (size, thickness, etc.) so I can get to work.

Thanks for the input - Man of few words I see.

Yeah I have checked the ORD's & DIY's for ideas I just thought it would be good to see pics & specs of what people have done on their own.

I like bldg. my own stuff as many do.

That's one, let's see what the rest of the K5 world has to offer.

I would rethink that 700r4, since you are building the cross members etc. You know it's easier the first go around.

Yeah, I guessed I would get some of that on the 700r4.

I do appreciate the concern but this 700r4 is built proper to handle the HP/TQ that this 454 will provide (I hope ).

I appreciate the input though.

Thought I would bounce TTT since I received one pic and that was one I would have to buy.
