I was wondering if anyone had used any springs from a F@rd F250 Pooper Duty (gas engine) in place of their stock chevy springs? I know where a set is and thought they might offer some lift over my tired jimmy leaves. I haven't taken any measurements yet, thought I'd ask here first if people thought it might work. Thanks...

    I've been looking and asking...
    The ideal springs are:
86-96 F-150's (the newer the better)
leaves are 2.5" wide (carefull as some came w/ 3" wide springs)
57" from eye to eye along the arch of the spring
25" from front eye to center bolt
leaf pack has 4 teflon padded leaves and 1 O/L (it's common to find a pack which has 3 leaves and 1 O/L - but the 4 leaf pack is mo' betta!)
