Ive been doing that to Capital One. They would literally send me at least one a day, sometimes i would get 2 or even 3 card offers in one day. Then i found this, and started sending my garbage back to them. Never quite got to an old tire, though. For some odd reason i no longer get credit card offers from Capital One.
That's funny! But, is it really legal? Mail abuse?
I mail back all of my credit card junk mail, usually about a half dozen a day. I get some with stickers in them to choose what card I want, so I stick the stickers everywhere and fill the envelope with pizza cupons and harbor freight advertisements. I sent a piece of rotten bologna wrapped in saran wrap and a piece of cheese once. STINK!!!
Thats sweet I wish I could do that with all the spam I get for my email!!!
Capitol One? They are my favorite! Here is today's mailings, complete with coupons for almost anything imaginable and randomly attached stickers, and the foil lids from my SnackPack chocolate pudding... with pudding still smeared on the foil.
I just throw them out, but I think I'll try this over th weekend...
i usually use them to start fires... or throw them away at work. I don't mind getting CC offers... because I transfer balances and cancel cards all the time. I have had a revolving balance for the last 3 years, and haven't had a rate over 0.0% that entire time... gotta love it.
I don't see how a company can ban you from mailing postage-paid packages. Couldn't we just as easily ban them from mailing us anything at all? I guess they could ban you from mailing THEM postage-paid packages, but it doesn't seem right that they could ban you completely.
That is a great idea though. I may have to try that. I just moved so I'm sure I can find some old junk they would love to have. Really, it's all in the Christmas spirit. Better to give than to receive!
I'm going to the PO now, I'll ask the lady there what the deal is.
Ok, she said yes it can be done, and the receiver has to pay. She said I couldn't send any more bologna becasue it is Haz-Mat
I cant wait to check the mail.....
I used to work for the post office and that is why your bills don't come in postage paid envelopes anymore. People used to attach their utilities bills to cinder blocks and mail them in. The USPS has to deliver them and can't tamper with it...
Good for junk mail though...
I'm thinking a package of used kitty litter.
What about a big sheet of plywood? Are there size limitations?
Now I know what to do with those 14bFF brake drums!
I wonder if they like old 10 bolt stuff???? Or my old shoes.?.
This may fall into the HazMat category.
You would have to call and ask them, i send a box of old spider gears and a gov-loc still covered in stinky gear lube.
This will be fun
I could never afford my 4x4 hobby with out credit card offers
