Exhaust manifolds

That, is a nice exhaust. I've never had my exhaust out the back, always been out the sides which always seemed to get damaged. I'm going over the axle and at a short 45. I had a 76 long bed that had an H pipe and I developed small cracks over time. I was towing a lot of heavy loads and I wonder if taking off in granny low had to do with it. You could definitely feel a difference on the top end with an H pipe, that's for sure. Kudos to you, very nice looking exhaust.

Thanks. I always had the side exit too and wanted to go out the back this time. I don’t think 3” would clear if you retain the hitch receiver. I went 45 up from the x pipe and the 14” mufflers fit perfect at an angle. Center out from the muffler and another 45 over the axle and one more bend to send it out the back.

Thanks it’s a handy tool. Everything is on 2” receiver tubing so I can quick change vises / grinders etc.. can’t see it in that pic but there’s a hinged adjustable stool so you can sit and weld too

Blazers and burbs do NOT respond well to out the back . Wind flow sucks the fumes back up in the inside with the window down .
So far so good with a fuel injected LS.. time will tell and can always turn it out if becomes a problem.
