Very nice! I like this better than welding the bracket to the housing itself.

Got any crossmembers done and ready to go?

Yaaaay! Just what I wanted to hear! PM'ing you now...

This is looking like "Vendor" territory...

Must be something going around.

Easy. Please. We (ok, he) has been working on this one for a while. I'm sure that once it is all together the vendor thing will get straight. ;)

I only saw a pic of a product and went straight to the source. I don't see no vendor-esque here.

If that's what I think it is, won't it be absolute hell on u-bolts with it up that high? Also, it looks like a driver's side perch, isn't that going to mess up your steering?

What do you think it is?
The lower mount for the panhard bar which is mounted to your upper part of your one-off custom built crossmember and I've got a line on one, too!

Ha, thought it was a panhard bar mount/spring plate, but there's some sort of keyway on the bottom, so that's out. :doah:

I give up, what is it?

I've got a line on one, too!

product, plus customer = vendor.

Ultimately I leave vendor decisions up to Steve, I'm just currently making an observation. Wes, I suggest you keep the remainder of your dealings in your private messages rather than create trouble for someone else. Until there is a blue Vendor tag under his name I expect to not see a product being actively pimped...and when there is a Vendor tag, the pimping shall be in the correct forum.

Nothing has been pimped yet...let's keep it that way for now please.

I'm also trying to deal with Jesse's thread too, again that is a 'Steve' decision.

I remember that thread, but it now goes back to my original questions.

It appears that the spring plate is for the driver's side. That's the opposite way your crossover runs.

I would be worried about messing up u-bolts with that setup because of the leverage the tower creates. :dunno:

Not bashing, just inquiring.

rather than create trouble for someone else
Whoa! I'm not trying to "create trouble" for anyone. I'm just merely stating my excitement to see more stuff made. That hurts hearing you say that to me. Is that all you think of me as, a troublemaker?

Isn't that a little rough :shame:? I didn't see that anything has been offered for sale...

And finally, finally, there's a new piece of real tech in the Garage, rather than the endless ebay-this, fullsizechevy-that, suicide-shackleflip-the other, and now this can't be discussed because of what - a perceived potential conflict of interest on behalf of one of the parties? Isn't that going a little too far?

No, if it had gone too far it would have gotten nuked. I know without question this is going to be a product line and am trying to keep the 'promotional' portion of this thread to a minimum...without jettisoning the tech discussion aspect.

If I had deleted, or brutally edited this thread I'd say that would have been 'too rough'. As it is I haven't tried to stifle any tech, and I haven't laid a finger on any buttons, or made any strategic changes. I've made some observations, and am trying to keep things on track while keeping this thread within this forum's parameters. Remember, the Garage is not to be used for 'sales'.

Please continue discussing the tech aspect...
