FarSoCal and AZ

I started on the battery install this weekend and got my box built. Now I need to mount it in the truck, make my cables and buy $400 worth of batteries. After all that I should be able to make the TDS/CK5 run first week of March but the Jan run is out of the question.:(

Check the build here

A buddy (thanks D Rat!) got some pics of me. Here's a pic of me taking the hard line on an easy trail.

And one of some "wheeling" I did today.

Somewhere I have a picture of me taking my stock xcab longbed cummins dodge around that corner when it was gnarly a few years ago.

So where is everyone?

I am on the couch!:D doing a little couch wheelin.

I just watched the Top truck challenge on the video fourwheeler magazine sent me. I was ok coverage. I had to leave work early I gots a really bad cold going on.

Nope. Originally one ton dually 4x4. The previous owner and I don't care for the complication and all the moving/wearing parts of the coil setup. 63" Chevy springs all around, flexes/rides quite nicely.

I am jealous that you are so close to the park down there. I have yet to go all the way up Coyote. we allways turn around after that crossing.

Nice Rig there(diesel, One ton=beautiful)

Piece of cake. I wouldn't take a, uh, uh, well, you know...disco thingy up there. :wink1:

I would:haha:, They keep stopping me everytime I try to sneak off! They know to keep a close eye on me. I like to take off and get into the more entertaining terrain. It is funny hearing them talk. The stuff we get into normally they think is totally over the top. When we do employee days they all follow me, I like to give them a little wow factor and wake them up.

My mom always told me that if I don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, so I'm gonna hafta leave this conversation. :D

Hey David just got back from cruise about a month ago. Havent done any wrenching or wheeling for awhile but with gas prices the way they are know that I am back dont know how much wheelin I can afford especially out your way.

I got a "new" towrig/wheeler...the blazer is kaput. Come and gone a long ways since you saw it. I'm not doing a lot these days either. Hot. leaning towards hot rodding...

I here ya. I just put my silverado up for parting out. The motor is going into my buddies rig. It would probably make a good start for a buggy if any one over there is interested. Or if they need any parts. Still keeping the burban though
