Fender trimming direction diagram!

I know it has been covered a lot and I have alreaqdy searched but can't find the one particular link to the directions on where to cut.

There was a post where someone had measured everything out and included measurements on where to cut?

Wondering if anyone bookmarked it. I thought I did but I didn't.

wing it, You dont need a diagram. use a sharpie and go to town. When you get a shape you like and cut it out with a cut off wheel take the piece of sheet metal to the oposite side, you may have to bend it a bit but use it as a patern to cut the other side.

are we supposed to splash guards or fender liners to "protect" the engine compartment area when driving through puddles, etc?

Here is how it's done. Get pissed (what ever that means to you), plug in the SawZall, use the inner fender well as the guide, cut from the bottom-up. It's that simple.
