So I have a random thought in the back of my head about fiberglass fenders, hoods, and bedsides or even a whole bed...but just in the back of my head as the wife would kill me.
At any rate I've had a couple links saved and was wondering if anyone knew of anybody else who made fiberglass panels for our trucks? Either stock replacement or flared/widened like the desert trucks?

Hannemann does mostly desert stuff and offers some stuff for our trucks:

Glassworks Unlimited does flared widened bedsides - not sure on the length though:

Even has bedsides for Blazers!

Unlimited Products have mostly stock and race themed products:

US Body Source makes everything including basically the entire body structure of our trucks. Doghouse and beds included!

The member here with the all fiberglass bodied K5 got the body here.

Anybody used any of these or someone else?

i wasn't looking at any of the widened stuff.. between unlimited and us.body, us body has the better rep from what i've read, but not perfect...

73k5 has that full usbody body... he'd be a good source on the quality... i was gonna ask him how the tilt nose was...

unlimited has what I want, but i've since read some bad shat about em...

Yeah, from my Ranger days I heard some of the makers, even the big name makers, were hit or miss on quality. A friend bought bedsides and fenders for his '95 Ranger and none of them were "bolt on and go" like they claimed.

This is one of those "one day when we have money" or "well, the car accident sucked but since I need a new front clip/bedside anyways" sorta theories.

I keep toying with the idea of a flip clip for my tow rig, same as 73k5Blazer has ... but I have many, MANY other things I could do with the coupla grand it would cost just for a clip.

are you looking to go pre-runner, or a stock look?

I know the tilt from US Body is about 2 g's plus shipping...

Not entirely sure really.

Dunno about the ability to keep getting the Michelin tires like I have so my next set will likely end up as a Swamper or something similar...but no one makes a 38x11R16 or even a 38x12.5R16...so it'd probably be a wider tire and/or taller and wider tire. Right now my tires are under the fenders and I like that...so probably some flared fenders as long as they don't look TOO goofy.
When I lived in San Diego I was big on the flared fenders look but lately I've been sorta into the stock but cut look. I guess I can do either when I need to make this decision.
