So, I finally got a job! Yay! A good one too! Yay! I'm an Engine Mechanic at a local engine shop. Today I spent the day tearing an engine out of a '96 Jeep Cherokee Sport that had thrown a rod. And I now know how nice those hydraulic car lifts are. No more laying on the ground for me! I only had one problem today, and I have a new respect for my old BMW. When I took the engine out of my '79 BMW I complained because I had to buy a special curved "c" or "s" wrench to reach a bolt. Well that was nothing compared to the stupid Jeep! I swear every single bolt on that stupid thing is a different size, and it that wasn't enough they had to go and throw those stupid Torx bolts into it. One of them on the transmission was such a pain to get to that is took me about an hour to remove it. Stupid Jeeps... Anyways, I mainly just glad to be working again. Not to mention at an awesome job doing something I like!
