I finally put stills of the webcam up on my site. However, I think it will be short lived, my wife is majorly creeped out. I bought cam's about a year ago to do live conferencing with her and my daughter while travelling on business. 99% of the time, the cam was not in use, and every time I'd come home, the cam would be buried under the desk somewhere, she thinks people can hack them and create live feeds for themselves or something. I explained, look, we are behind a firewall (port blocking), windows IIS is off (so no webserver for windows, webserver is my unix box), if the light on the cam isn't on, nothing is using it, and some other homemade protections I've put in place. So, just to furthur her creepness, I just made the live cam page, and now she is, *almost* mad. I negotiated with her, and we decided it can stay up if I put it behind a password. But it's free access for now while it's in "testing" mode!!!! http://www.snyderworld.org/wc It'll probably be black during the night if the light isn't on in the Den. Haha, just like all webcams, well, almost all. The less than $100 ones anyway!
