First Gen, all hardware no software

So I bought this '70 K5 and fell in the rabbit hole ever since. It was tired, a victim of someone's "perfume on a pig" restoration. Original 350/350.Paint is nice.
Couple hammer down pulls through the neighborhood and there's no leak/s so far... Slow clap... But in reality I must have the worst luck. Bad gaskets, poor fitment... I think I found the formula finally and ceremoniously installed the pan and intake.

Still can't keep the oil in the valve cover breathers lol
You have "breathers " as in plural. As far as I know, it should be one breather and one PCV valve, and in the opposite valve cover from each other.
And is there a splash shield under the breather?

Both covers are baffled. One pcv on the driver and I have a breather on the passenger side but due to cover design it's rearward. I tried plugging it and blew the pcv out completely.
Unfortunately I'm almost sure it's just a displacement issue.

I have a Mr gasket with a pcv in it that I'll use temporary and just route a hose upward. When I recover financially from this trip I'm getting another set of fabricated valve covers, Earls billet breathers and a moroso catch can

New fabricated valve covers with fins look pretty tuff! Got an Earls billet pcv on both sides forward routed throu - 6an and black braided line to a moroso catch can on the firewall for now till I have a shock hoop to mount on...

Whats your thought process on that mod?
Well they're taller, baffled and using sealed breathers to a catch can should keep the oil in the engine giving more internal volume to displace the oil. Theory is the block just doesn't have enough volume in the crank case with the stroker crank. Thus keeping the oil from draining down from the top end.

It wasn't bad the last time I drove it other than with one pcv to port the other rear breather still leaked all over the valve cover. For all I know the tall covers with breathers in the front could be well enough but I'm not leaving anything to chance.
