First Gen, all hardware no software

So I bought this '70 K5 and fell in the rabbit hole ever since. It was tired, a victim of someone's "perfume on a pig" restoration. Original 350/350.Paint is nice.
Could be corroded. Could be bad fuel

Not like you’ve been driving it....

Tank was drains and the lines were blown out. It revs cleanly in park like perfectly. It does clear up slightly around 4k rpm on the road but it's just not right

The accel plugs that had only 50miles on them went back in so I'm thinking I should stop bein cheap n rnr em as well:whistle:

I’d check that cap, and check the filter for fun

New accel pugs gapped to .035, plug wires checked, cleaned the contacts Un the cap and the tip of the rotor. Still runs like ass only now the driver bank has a nasty pop at idle. I'm really f@ckin over this chit.

Maybe you need some software? :D
I really don't think it's the fitech this time. The pop is on one bank and it's a dual plane manifold. I'm just tired of changing almost new parts bc I move chit around so much. I don't want to buy another set of wires from moroso or Taylor's. I exhausted

Won’t a dual plane manifold affect one bank? How hard would it be to plop a carb on it to see?

So I'll bee making new fuel lines with viton hose that I already have. It was on the list but the rubber lines looked OK but we all know visual is no match for ethanol fue lwhich is all we have in jersey. Ugh....

Fuel psi issues mainly but it's an option
I did that with my k10. It had an efi pump from the tpi that was in it. I put the big block with the carb in it and needed to move it. I rigged up a push button to the fuel pump wire and would fill the carb bowls with the push button.

Finally got around to rebuilding the fuel system. All black viton braided hose and relocated the inlet side to the front passenger port of the fitech with a psi port and guage I had lyin around. Looks good and it's functional. Still have a misfire on the driver bank that loads up and pops pretty bad. I cleaned the cap and rotor contacts and the plugs are new. I guess there's a possibility the plug wires were damaged over the last year while I pulled and rebuilt the engine.
I'm fairly certain it's ignition. I don't have much reason to think the Davis hei unit is bad as it worked fine before I pulled the engine. So I found another set of moroso ultra 40 race wires. I like them bc they're under header and numbered. So it go
