I did that with my k10. It had an efi pump from the tpi that was in it. I put the big block with the carb in it and needed to move it. I rigged up a push button to the fuel pump wire and would fill the carb bowls with the push button.Fuel psi issues mainly but it's an option

What firing order you running those wires?Finally got around to rebuilding the fuel system. All black viton braided hose and relocated the inlet side to the front passenger port of the fitech with a psi port and guage I had lyin around. Looks good and it's functional. Still have a misfire on the driver bank that loads up and pops pretty bad. I cleaned the cap and rotor contacts and the plugs are new. I guess there's a possibility the plug wires were damaged over the last year while I pulled and rebuilt the engine.
I'm fairly certain it's ignition. I don't have much reason to think the Davis hei unit is bad as it worked fine before I pulled the engine. So I found another set of moroso ultra 40 race wires. I like them bc they're under header and numbered. So it go
