the other day i pulled up my carpet for the first time since i bought my truck and was amazed at the amount of rust holes i have, i was thinking cutting off the rusting parts bed lining it, then laying diamond plate over it and riveting it in. What do u guys think?

no do it right. Cut out the rust and weld in the new. Don't do it half ass

A rusty Blazer on the East Coast....who knew. I agree do it right if you are keeping the truck, if it`s a woods beater then hack away.

If your not ready to do it right now, Por15 & metal will get you by for a few years or so. Just make sure your not loosing the seats and it won't be safe.
Or just do it right.

yea rivets = bad idea lol welding new floors in is easiers to do than most people think, just take your time.
