Flyin Rat Garage

I gotta say they do nice work....and I'm glad I hired them....I tore some muscle tissue in my arm and shoulder and have some recovery/physical therapy to do for the next few weeks...getting old ain't for pussies! Wondering how I can get done all that I need to do now...

Wow Dave! Hadn't been back in here for a while and great progress. Gotta be happy with that building.

Weather has been awesome
We're lucky it hasn't been below freezing yet!
The arm is definitely limiting my ability, and I have to get a bit more creative to get things done
Work smarter not harder!
Ordered a drywall lift yesterday to put on the OSB ceiling.

Cool! Sucks about the arm...glad your working around it. :waytogo:

Oh yeah! A little A/C and a lot of dehumidification makes a world of difference.
that and I sweat like a stuck pig on a BBQ pit.!

I am about the same way . . . . I want a/c in mine . and since I spray foamed the whole shop its so efficient now it wont take much to keep it cool . . and my inside garage door separating the back section is spray foamed also to zone the shop off .

Mine probably will next summer. Hell now is the perfect time to pick up a window unit for dirt cheap.

I shopped around and got a 25K unit for less than $500 at Wallyworld!

I will be getting spray foam as well...3" walls and 5" ceilings...should seal things up nicely!

I have A/C and heat in mine and it's amazing how much of a difference that makes. Being comfortable while working leads to a whole lot more getting done. :waytogo:
