what air cleaner are you guys running to keep water out of the carb?
mine decided to hyrdo-lock today. Pulled the plugs number 8 was full
of water cleaned the plugs and she fired right up and ran like a champ.

Want to keep this from happening,im tired of pulling the plugs to drain the water.it sucked the water threw the back of the air cleaner.

what do you guys think of these

Look at some sort of pre filter, I run a outerwears on a couple of my vehicles. You do have to run a open element style filter though.

I run a stock air cleaner on my 83, tangs are knocked off it so I can point it any direction I want. I also shortened the snorkel on it in order to spin it around.

Since going to electric fans I haven't really had a issue in deep water fwiw

So far I've been good with my stock air cleaner, usually lid upside down on the street but back like normal if I'm gonna be playing off road. I want to get a Carb hat like your first summit link and move a cone filter inside under the dash, just on the long list of to do's.
