Ford 57" vs GM 56"

What are the differences if any besides an 1" on these springs. Would the advantages or disadvantages be tossed out the window if going with an after marked lifted spring on either? Tring to decide which would be best mated to a ORD shackle flip on my K5, thanks

The Ford 57's are REALLY soft. I have them on my rig and love them, but I run w/o a top, I don't haul anything, and I don't tow anything
