frame to hood measurement

I am looking for the distance from the top of the frame to the top of the hood (or the top of the fender) on a 73-80 Blazer. I'm thinking a truck would be the same. I am trying to figure out how high the hood skin is off the frame. I am really interested in the measurement from the frame in front of the grill to the top of the hood.

I got almost exactly 24 inches from top of frame to top of hood in front of grill

From the top of the frame rail, where it bumps up behind the wheel;
To the underside of the hood (the dimple, not the support rib) is 21.25"...

I have no inner fenders.
Figured there aren't many of us with that kind of access.
