front axle moved forward W\ hi-steer

i have ord standard x over now and i want to go to hi-steer but i moved my front axle forward to clear my tires and i am trying to find a definte anwser before i order the arm and get stuck with it....i have a 4 inch lift

Did you use a 0rate to move the axle?

nope, drilled perches, plates, and shims

Mine works fine with my Dana 60 moved forward 1" and with 6" springs

I was told by James Watson that 2" forward is the max w/ thier hi-steer/x-over. James said he runs 6" customs that are moved forward 2" and that it just clears. He did mention that he would recommend a good bumpstop to avoid a super deep stuff of the tire which might make them come into contact.
