Hi All,

I have a 75 K5 Blazer that needs allot of work and was wondering if the earlier year front clip would work on my truck?

I prefer the look of the older trucks and have the chance to buy a complete front clip for $100 that is in very good condition.

Can anyone tell me if this will fit or is it going to be more trouble than it's worth? My brother in law says that we can make anything "fit" but I would like to be able to just bolt it on.

Thanks in advance.

Body lines and everything are totally different. If you wanted an updated look, you could put a front clip from a 89-91 blazer. Those look pretty good on any of the 73-91

Bummer, I kinda figured that. The guy I bought it from put a front clip from an 89 on it and he did a really ****ty job. I would love to go to an older look and it's a great deal but if it won't look right then it's not worth it.

I know the local pick a part sells complete front clips for $250 (-25% for military) so $187.50 is not bad for a complete clip and they have a crap load of 75 pickups in pretty good shape.

Thanks for the info

You would have to be a sheet metal wizard to even make it look half way decent. If you want an older look just find a front clip off a 73-74 with the recessed grill.
