Ok so I'm looking at putting zero rates on the front of my truck so I can get a little more clearance in the front for my 33's and move the axle forward about an inch. Here's the problem I'm seeing. If I move the axle forward I have to remove my front sway bar or build some brackets for the upper mounts. Anybody got any ideas? The truck is my DD and dose see some towing

making some brackets would be fairly easy I would think
it's been a long time since I had a front sway bar, so I could be way off
I run a rear sway bar when I'm not off roading, works great at the dunes too.

Is this truck stock? I would look into a rear 2" block and 2" lift springs for the front. You can keep the sway bar (maybe add the disconnects) Plenty of room for the 33" and better handling. I wouldn't worry about keeping the tires out of fender opening, once you have the small lift on. I'd rather do that, than add an inch and move the front axle forward. Oh yeah, never mind the steering draglink just got a lot shorter. You'll feel that on the road. You will be pulling the driveshaft out farther than if you just did a 2" lift also.

Most who get away with moving the axle forward (1.5" myself) are running crossover steering. Moving the axle has no affect on crossover. (unless you go way forward :) )

The truck is stock right now the springs are worn so I plan on putting new springs under it maybe 6inch lift but more than likely 4 inch. I have a buddy that but zero rates on the front of his 87 K5 without a sway bar and it's got a nice stance with a good ride but he doesn't tow so that's why I'm trying to keep the sway bars.

I'm running a 4 inch spring, zero rate and stock sway bar on K30 dually. With all Energy Suspension bushings

Works fine. Just loosen all bolts on the mounting.

I wanted the sway bar and firm ride
