Guys, I have tried the search function already with no luck. If someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Fuel Door

I came across a photo once of a 1st Gen Blazer that the owner had re-plumbed the gas filler neck and installed a fuel door on the side of his Blazer (similar to one you may see on a newer truck). I am trying to get some more info on it, what was the door originally from, etc. I think it looked pretty slick.

Bed Rails

Same story, I saw one where the owner had fabricated some rails for the top of the bed so that they were the same height as the tops of the doors, they appeared to have the same contours etc as the top portion of the doors.

There isn't a bed rail extension that I know of, it's people cut the top off the door to make it flush with the bedside... Greg was planning on this course at one time IIRC. The only issue is your windows won't roll down all the way if you go this route.

I am going to go the other direction and bring the bed up to meet the door height, I plan on starting that project in a couple of weeks. I don't plan on ever bringing it out in the snow or rain so I may go permanent on it.

Wow, and I thought the body lines of my '74 were quirky and not well thought out  You first-gen guys have it rough!
