Fuel tank options for 84 SWB

I am thinking of putting a Blazer/Suburban fuel tank in my truck. I would like the extra weight further back. I'm not sure that I like the look of the tank hangin down, especially with cut rear fenders. Here are some questions that I could use the forum's opinions on:

Should I use a Blazer tank and get rid of the saddle tanks?

Should I use all 3 for extra capacity? Hmmm?

What capacity tanks are there?

Any other suggestions?

blazer = 25ish or 31 gal

burb = 31 or 40 gal. same depth as 31 just longer to get 40 gal.

Lots of 2wd guys ditch the saddle tanks and run a blazer tank.

tank hangs lower than frame rail bottom.

some lowriders like to have the frame so low it sits on the frame rails when parked.

then some go as far as installing carbide blocks to make the sparks fly at night when thay cruzin low down the road.

Yep, if you are layin frame those sidesaddle tanks don't work at all. And if you are layin frame good chance you have channeled the whole thing too. Sidesaddles will not work at all with that, besides don't you know they blow up?

If they ran a 3" body lift like me they wouldn't have that problem!
My tanks almost never hit.

fyi those guys also channel the frame up in to the body or body drop them as its called.

I think LMC lists a rear mount tank for the p/up`s as a factory option.
