full convertable soft top on a 90 blazer

I'd love to have full convertable soft top on a 90 blazer, I'm not worried about having a hard top for it and was wondering if i could get away with some creative cutting, or if i need to find a 73-75 to cut up. This is just a thought, but I'd love to hear what ya'll think cause i just might do it.

Well, you could start with the tech write up on converting your 90's to full convertible.

yea i saw that, probably what I'll do, i just havent found a good donor. I was just wonderin if anyone tried to just cut a later model up and put a soft top on. well back sanding.

Yes it can be done. Someone on here just recentlycut their top but did not graph a new windshield frame. You will still have to cut your doors and cover the bed rails. Here is mine I cut my top though.

well i cant see the pics, but thanx for the reply. (i know i know, give me a few weeks, i start in the union in a week i'll have money to become a member then, and buy more stuff for the toys) I'm still just thinkin about it, but I'm willing to but one of these nites the sawzall and beer will combine to create a convertable. well i really gotta get of this thing and get back to sanding.
