full top conversion with no donor blazer??

ive read the thing on the main page on full top conversion and i was wondering if its possible to convert to a full removable top with out the top of the windshield from a 73-75 i plan on using a soft top at all times but i dont know if its possible to make it hook up to the top of my windshield with out the 73-75 bracket has anyone done this ??? i have been lookin for a 73-75 all over my area but none to be found

any ideas???

No donor needed if you use a soft top from someone like STC.
I have a '73 and a '75, both have soft tops............try to get a photo latter in the day showing the mounting strips. I have an '86 I'm gonna make a full convertible sometime.
