Gas didnt jump, but diesel did
Mid grade: $1.939
It's $2.24 in Los Angels for 87 oct
Just picked up dual tanks of super unleaded for 2.15 gal. here on the front range. The cheap grade is holding at 1.89
Thats strange that diesel jumped where you are today because at my station we got the new prices with gas jumping even more of couse but diesel dropped 4 cent...
yesterday 1.78 today 1.88 and supose to go up more
no kiddin holy crap we are back up to 2.21 for Reg.
Reg was 1.99 today. I was amazed, its been low 1.80s since I've been here.
Just filled up the '75 and '86. Drive the '73 to work and stop in the morning and fill it up I suppose. Dang..............that will be alot of money altogether. Dang.........It's $1.82 tonight. Was $1.78 last night though.
filled up the jeep an the way home for $1.88 went home to get the burb and the 40 gallon tank and it was up to $1.94
Its a 1.999 here, up from 1.939 last week
Now that's a pi$$er!!!!
Get used to it guys! The days of cheap gas are over! The world is catching up to us and starting to suck up a lot of oil.. I perdict 2.50 a gallon in the not too distant future. if you want to drive a big V8 I Hope you have deep pockets.
Might be a good time to invest in oil futures . That way you can afford to run a rig that gets 10 MPG.
I got gas at the cheap place here today, $2.03 for 87... Amazing that it was under $1 when I started driving...
LOL ! I rember paying .20 cents a gallon when I started driving. Lets see....... Its around 2.00 a gal now
I think that is an increase of 1000% ?
See what you guys have to look forward to.
Kinda makes me glad I just traded in my VW with the 1.8T, it got 26mpg and REQUIRED 91 octane or better (93 in my case). I traded it in for a 05 Colorado reg cab with 4 cylinder and 5 speed, supposed to get 21 city and 27 highway on 87 octane. Makes me wonder though, the engine in the colorado has a 10:1 compression, wonder how that works with 87 octane? Chevys website recommends 87 octane though, so who knows.
Isn't it funny how gas starts rising right around the holidays. We have spring break in 2 weeks. When people travel the most!
