Gas tank door broke

Hello,
When I was putting the new intake on my 1985 K5 Blazer over at one of my friends house. Some how over night the gas tank door broke and will not stay shut. Is there a spring in there that might of broke? This is a pretty nice truck and it makes me mad watching the door stay open alll of the time.
