As some of you know I go to college at Texas A&M, the university the Princeton Review has named the most conservative school in the country basically, well...forever. My girlfriend was telling me today there were people on campus (non-students a.k.a. outsiders) protesting the fact that the Corps (ROTC) did not allow gays in it. This is extremely rare, this is my 4th semester here and this is the first protest I have even heard of (I didnt even see it, must not have been that big...). We have a "gay club" (its not that significant, the university officialy recognizes over 700 clubs) and they boast 5 or 6 members. 45,000 people attend this university. Did they really think protesting was going to accomplish anything?
