Gen I engine crossmember install question

Almost seems like the most simple fix would have been for Kert to make new brackets to bolt on the engine block that are slightly longer downward to raise the motor up a bit. You could have simply sent the short ones back and he send you some longer ones.

Yeah everything should have just bolted up to existing holes. If you have a stock pan, it's a much better way to mount your motor. Kert did a lot of homework on this but should have just made the arch a little longer to fit other options. my 2 cents.
