Does anyone know where the Christmas Eve ride is and where they are meeting?
Mike Hardy is suppose to be digging pits right now at Southeastern Dragstrip in Dallas. He will be taking money at the gate to cover ambulance and insurance fees. The rest of the money will be donated to the Paulding Co. fire departments burned boot fund. Unless you want to drive to Bowden, Tallapoosa, or Waco then Dallas Dragstrip is the only other choice. Oh yeah one other thing, no four wheelers will be allowed to ride, because of insurance. If you bring any thing to drink, I would suggest cans and plastic cups if you know what I mean /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif. Other than that it should be a good time for all with no law to run you off. If you want any other info, you should call East Hiram 4x4 at 770-943-7948.
What times does it run? Got stuff to do in the afternoon but might be able to come up in the morning.
Last I heard the power lines were off limits.
Maybe we can get Keith to put the 42's on the truck and acttully get them dirty /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Everyone use to meet at the ingles between 7-8am, so I am assuming anytime around then would be fine. You are right about the power lines in PC, the cops have already started making plans to block off entrances to those areas.
Yeah see if you can find out. Not sure I'll get in the pit (I hate mud) but might be fun to watch folks tear up their junk.
That guy ever build a mud pit before?
Hmmm Maybe Dep will come and toss some mud with the 39's
Wow they got a web site.
They don't have the event listed. Somebody should call and see what they say.
I think he had a pit there one time before, but it has been a while. Somebody said that with him donating money to the fire department, they may be there to wash your vehicle off when you leave before you get out on the pavement. I will probably leave my truck at Mike Curtis' shop and pick it up that morning after I leave the awful waffle, so I will be getting to the strip around 8:00am.
If anyone is looking for a D60, Mike Curtis @ East Hiram has 3 or 4.
yeah he has some for sale and only wants 5000 a piece /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
He told me he would set one up with whatever gear you wanted for $2000. Considering what I paid for mine and then had to rebuild it, that is not a bad deal. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
he wanted $175 for used spiders gears for a 10 bolt. Do you know how much the christams eve ride is going to be
No, I didn't find out what he is going to charge. Whatever it is, can't be worse than no place to ride at all. You can call Curtis and see if he knows, he has Hardy on nextel so he could find out more info for you.
i'll get my dad to check he knows curtis real good. thanx for the info
Mike Curtis /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gifI wouldn't let him touch my Blazer!!!!!!! He begged my buddy for part #'s for my crossover. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Maybe they will have a bog regular again.
Keith, you suck you no wheeler. You need to skip Waycross and go on the Jan 1 Ride.
Hmm. family or wheel Screw you guys /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
i wouldnt let him touch mine either. but i still like his car
The Vett. Ask him how he blew it up in Daytona!! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
Keith, you Bronco wheeler, call me. What are you doing tomorrow?

Where is this place in Bowden? I was planning on going to Waco. Will there be anything more than just a mud pit at the drag strip?
