Well my truck went into the shop about 3 weeks ago to get the front seal changed on the tranny. Well while the truck was there reverse went on the good old Th350. So instead of installing a HEAVY CAM. I am going to build a NEW Th350. I am adding a shift kit STAGE 2 (street/strip). With a heaver TC. Then next summer I am going to gut the floor pan and rebuild it.

sounds like a plan but also sounds like the shop you had the truck at was beating the truck up and blew reverse, unless you knew the guy than MAYBE its different
otherwise good for you and i bet it was time for some fresh stuff anyway

so reverse worked when you brought it to the shop. but then reverse magically broke while it was at the shop? is that correct?

if that's true i'd be asking the shop how and why they broke my transmission.

Actually, that kind of stuff happens all the time.

Well reverse was slipping a little bit ever since I had it. But I think running the thing out of fluid killed it. What is a Th350 rated for HP wize?

i would say i f it was fresh about 400HP

p.s. but thats just what ive sceen in a car with regular tires and 4:10's but could be different with a big tire and axles
