getting parts for efi kit

is the return low pressure? or is it high? off of the throttle body that is
 
i would love to figure out how to use the feed line on there. would save a lot of money and headace
 
just have to figure out how to connect it at the split half way down at the tank and at the motor
 
If you have pre 86, then the metal line is in two pieces and jointed with a short piece of hose. This joint on 86 and later has a fuel filter to join the two metal lines. The 85 and earlier have hose connection to the tank, not braided flex lines like the TBI tanks have. That is the way my 85 was.
 
FWIW, I pulled a tank, sending unit and all fuel lines from a 1990 K5. A TPI pump fits in the TBI sending unit, but makes the higher pressure. I used all ('90) factory fuel lines up to the front springs. For the last section, I had lines made with fittings to match my fuel rails and and the factory lines. These reach from the frame up to the intake. I took the fittings from old fuel lines and had a hydraulic shop do flares and crimps or whatever they do for their high pressure lines. Since they are all flexible (with stainless braid) routing them is simple. Making something with flex/hard/flex seemed too complicated and would drive the cost up, but if you had two sets of lines, each with the fittings you needed at one end, they could probably be joined together for a solution.
 
For the price of that tool you could run steel braided line with all the cool fittings.

^This x100. That's a lot of freaking money for a tool....just buy the adapters and get the nice braided flexible stainless steel hose....if you are planning to spend that money, spend it on the lines, not the tool, just my $0.02
 
i have two other projects that the tool would come in handy on. for one project I couldnt justify that kind of money
