What do you guys think of a crate GM 383 putting out around 410 ft lbs of torque and 325 hp running w/ a rebuilt 700R4? Anything I can do to the 700 to make it stronger? Thanks!

Unless you can rebuild overdrive automatics, there's nothing you can do to your 700 to make it stronger, but I'm sure a good shop can. I personally would buy one from a nationally known 700R4 person--since they're harder than the tolder non-overdrive, non-lockup trannies, but they really are a great transmission.

Or swap to a 4L80E if money doesn't matter and you like automatics.
