The "Goodwrench" motors are just renamed "Targetmaster's"
I have a neighbor that just bought one from our local Chevrolet dealer, got it home installed in to a '68 ElCamino,it didnt run right so they did a compression test....100lbs each cylinder. That seams kinda low for a NEW engine. They called the dealer and was told that since all the cylinders were the same there wasnt anything they could do.
I myself would goto a wrecking yard and find a nice std bore 010 block, pull the timing cover and look for "010 and 020" behind the timing chain and use that one to build a STRONG 350/383. Then YOU wil know what has been done to it.
