gm np 205 VSS

Does anyone here know which side of the plug on the 91 np 205's is ground and which side carries the signal?...i need to run wires from it to my cable -x box which converts elec. signal to mech. cable driven speedo...

If I was home I'd check the wiring manual for you, unfortunately it will be a week before I have access again. Can't find anything online, the 241 should be wired the same way if it helps.

IIRC it doesn't matter as it's not a power and ground scenerio here.

Purple/white is the signal wire, green/yellow (or green/black) is the ground or low ref.
