Going Edelbrock EFI(Final update #26)

Just backs up my desire to buy their heads when I rebuild my power plant and not the Chinese junk copies. Made in the USA and good company support to boot.

:bow:

Well after putting it all in for the 2nd time it fired and run pretty decent without effort. It has been sitting for a good 3months and didn't even have to touch the throttle to keep it running.So, glad to say it is running like a champ. Now to put it to the test:)

That's great news. :laugh:

After I had this thing running for a good 30min. I was happy. The next day I decided to clean things up and get ready for a nice drive. Moved it closer to the garage, cleaned and started it up. This time it ran for about 15sec then just died.
Now, no spark again.:mad::mad::mad:

The tech line is giving me same old questions about having enough volts to get it to start. I can't repeat myself enough to them, "that It ran just fine then just died."
So now I think the ignition apmlifier is crapped out again and it might be the kit burning them up.
Thats my only thought.

Well since all said and done I have to give an UPDATE. It was well worth the problems I went through. Finds out my HEI coil was some how burning up the apmlifires. I ended up going through 3 of them. Each one was warrentied and exchanged without a problem. Now I have taken it out several times and no issues. Well, my fuel gage lied to me and made it back to my driveway.

So the villain of the whole episode was the HEI coil?
