I have been looking hard for wheels for my project. Anyone know some decent priced 16.5x14 wheels?

Best prices I've seen were the bart supertruckers (not to crazy bout those wheels) then the M/t 16.5x12. why dont they dont make 14" wide? :dunno:

Then there is weld which does have the 16.5x14 but they want $377 per wheel. I could buy a good set of used wheels/tires for that much and then have an extra set of tires for later. Someone show me the light please!

There are some 16.5x14 Weld Racing Super Single II's up on eBay at just over $200 for 4 rims right now.

K30guy:

THANKS!

I sent an e-mail to the seller and his reserve is set at $600 which is pretty cheap for the 14" wide Welds. :deal:

I think he would since the current bid is only like $202 with like 2 days left.

Send him an e-mail. Don't tell him I told you the reserve. Offer him $500 outright now to end the auction and see what he says. The worst thing he can say is "no." Offer $500 for them after the auction is over if the reserve is not met. Pay $600 as a last resort. :waytogo:

You dont have a welder and a lot a fab. skills do you? Just wondering if you wanted to move in next door. LOL j/k

I just figured since you already helped out so much :haha:

thanks again

I don't have a welder here at home but at work I do. Matter of fact, there are about 5 or 6 of them at work along with just about every tool or equipment that is related to metal work. ;) I can use them any time if needed, too, even after hours.

I found those Welds because I'm always keeping my eyes open for some more. I have a set of 12" wide Welds, identical to those on the eBay auction and also a set of 9.75" wide ones on my K30, also identical to those, too.

Guess you could say I have a thing for the Super Single II wheels. :haha:

I've got 16.5x14 weld Super Single Scorpios. Very nice rims, and very tough. I love the look of them with the bullet caps, very clean and sleek looking. I paid $325 a piece for mine about 2.5 years ago. They just keep going up and up....
