I ran supercharged 3800s for 15 years. Part of why I got out was the difficulty finding a clean engine anymore. And the rebuild process is a big deal because all the caps have to be resized, etc, so a crate engine is probably the way to go: https://www.jegs.com/i/ATK-Engines/059/DB62/10002/-1. You can start with a Camaro 3800 for the RWD setup and there is a rare Holden intake you can get for the air intake (FWD engine basically has the throttle through the firewall). But really the way to do it is skip the supercharger and put a turbo on it.How about the Buick 3.8 v6, with fuel injection?
That's what I am thinking of putting in the cj5 I am picking up.
It did pretty good in the firebird and camaro as well as the Bonneville ssi in Supercharged form
Yeah, I have a crate engine sitting in my shed right nowI ran supercharged 3800s for 15 years. Part of why I got out was the difficulty finding a clean engine anymore.
