A few weeks ago I posted and asked opinions on paint my grille black and I decided todo it..

I love it but to each there on here is a b4 and after pic.

Forgot to meantion , I start the headlight conversion but I only did the drivers side I want to see the difference , if i like it i will change both. but I dunno yet..

I used the 94 cent walmart "color place- gloss black" not bad for el cheap paint. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
 
Headlight conversion? Looks like you are going to that ice blue stuff. If so IT SUCKS A$$. I have them on my Chickadee from the PO and I hate driving that thing at night. I feel like a ricer driving a 4x4. As soon as I remember to buy regular headlights at the parts store they are in the tras bin.

Yeah, i've been thinking of blacking everything out...rims, body....no chrome! Have been debating on gloss black body, and flat black on the trim...on that note, til I get the $ for some HD bumpers, will paint stick to the chrome (need to rough it up a bit??)

This is my rig after i painted everything gloss black, i did the grill to start then the mirrors, got the bumper after it got cut up a little, then i went and painted all the little chrome outlines on the blinkers and tail lights and finished the window frame on the topper, it lasted a while like that untill it went to............

Yeh I am about to go outside and test the conversion kit vs the sylvania halogens i have in.

I am sure they will suck but they came with the headlight kit so i figure i'd give em a shot.

As for blacking everything out, that might look good but then again too much black isnt a good thing.. I wanted to do something like that on my impala tho, but have the polished lip on the wheels.
 
I love that truck, looks sweet, when I had my 89 I was going to do a rattle can flat black on it but got rid of her b4 I could.

I want a truck I can beat on , this one is my baby maybe then I can go a lil crazy.

Bite me I know its crooked, I was rushing cuz of the threat of rain, it comes out tomorrow anyway cuz they look like ass at night!

Does anyone know if theres a better brighter bulb?
 
Sapper...DROOL! I like it! I think I have my weekend planned out! I've been wanting /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif up the bumpers, and if i'm properly motivated just may do that too! hhmmm, flat or gloss...Flat. Will go gloss on the body (like a lil shine-and it IS my DD) that should add a touch of contrast.
 
Black+ white rocks , one my fav rigs is Brandonc's i love that jump he did, he and 1badv10 inspired me when I was buying my 89.

theres alotta sweet trucks on this site.
