Finally got the new PRP seats installed along with the 5-point RCI harnesses, thanks to TJ for welding up the seat base part of the tube, I will do a write up soon but the seats are *very" nice for a seat that doesn't cost and arm and a leg, here are a few pics:

Looks real nice. I ended up only running the shoulder ones now and then as it became hard to lean out ond look.

Those seats look really good. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'd say yes. If you look at the slots for the 5-point to come through the seat, it looks the same to me.

How hard do you think would it be to adapt those seats to a the '90 seat bracket? Or would it just be better to make you own and forget about getting through the back through the front seats?

I just ordered a set 2 weeks ago and they should be here this week. Installing them on the cage in my S-TON.

Nice bedside by the way... /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

They look like a PITA to get in and out of, how are they?

I've always wanted to make swivel buckets like out of a 60s-70s car because regular buckets are a pain to get in and out of... and with high sides it's even worse.

Then again... unless I go by myself my wheeling consists of getting in, buckling up, driving fifteen feet, unbuckling, getting out, and waiting... repeat.

I would not run this style in a daily driver. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
or without tilt steering or if your, to put it bluntly fat. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
They are harder to get in, but are real nice if you like to do the stuff that might put you on your lid and that's why I run them, they really keep you planted, most times I wheel I just use the lap belt so I can lean out etc., something extreme or the hi-way I use all 5 points. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

WoW! Looking good Steve.
PRP seats are the best value in a seat at this time. IMO
I put the low back buckets in the buggy and bought seperate head rests for them because even the extra tall seats with headrest hit me a little low for my liking.

I know what you are saying about them being for the smaller pant crowd.

For those that don't know these seats are made to order and have several options available as far as width and height. They even make some smaller kid sized seats as well as custom width bench seats.

Did you really put the Crotch grabber straps in? I decided that they were over kill for what we do.

They do have these seat mounts, but not sure where the holes line up with a k5, and they also have sliders and tilt etc. that you can get.

Yeah I did, but I only use the lap belt for 95% of the wheeling, I probably should use it the next time I attempt the "Rock Pile" in Moab. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

nice seats!! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

no way i think i could fit inside of those though. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
