I recently got a wild spur up my back side to change all my bushings on my 75 3/4 ton to Energy suspension poly bushings. Well I started on the front leaf spring bushings so I ordered the kit from Summit (ENS-3-2105G) and when I got it it had all the wrong bushings in it. I called Summit they said it is the one my truck calls for and should work. I have ruined two of the bushings already trying to get them in. Now before anyone asks yes the old metal bushing housing was removed and it had poly busings in it already (unknown to me) that was worn out. The ones in my truck had a part number of 2010 on it the new ones have 2006, 2007 and 2008 on them. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what have you done to get the correct bushings. Guy at Summit said he has no way to look up what kit contains the bushings I need and I already spent almost 100 bucks to get these one sent to me over night because I need the truck back on the road ASAP.

What springs are you using? Aftermarket lift springs use different bushings than the stockers.

There aftermarket but not sure what brand. I told the guy at Summit that to and he said this kit I bought would work so i ordered it online when i got the cash then when I found out wouldnt work another guy told me same thing that it would work as well. So guess I dont really know what kit to get unless I get smart and figure out what kit to get or order a new lift kit( I want to anyways) I do know the front and rear of the front springs use same size bushing or at least thay have the same part numbers on them.

Like was already said different spring manufacturers use different bushings. All you need to do is measure the spring eye and you can then order the proper bushings.

I checked my catalogs and that number you got (3-2105) is for STOCK springs, not lifted or aftermarket.

Depending on which front springs you have, Energy Suspension only offers 3-2112 for all aftermarket springs EXCEPT for Superlift and Skyjacker because those two use a smaller bushing on the very front eye bushings.

Send the 2105's back and get the 2112's if your springs have a bigger forward eye bushing.

How to tell which you have? Take a picture of the very front forward spring eyes and we can tell you which you have.

I ruined two of the bushings trying to get them in already. So I cant send them back and I will get a pic tonight when I get home. I put the old bushings back in and bolted it all back together so I could drive it to work.

I would try to return them telling the parts store that you told them you have aftermarket springs. It's the store who sold you the wrong parts (on the other hand, you should have carefully checked that the parts were correct before continuing on). If you're lucky they'll return them for you for the proper bushings. The store can easily get credit for the damaged bushings.

The store would be Summit not a normal parts store....Like I said in my first post I have tried to get the right part and they keep telling me the part I have is the right one...

Next time do what I do when I'm needing a certain part: go to a brand website, like Energy Suspension in this case, and search for the part number yourself so YOU know its the correct one.

I do this with everything I order from Summit. I can't totally trust they will give me the correct part. As long as I know what the correct part number is, they can't screw up the order that way.

You might want to talk to Craig Artzner since he works for Summit Racing and see if he can help you in some way.

Well, i know you can buy the bushings individually so maybe buy the 2 bushings you screwed up then return them as incorrect. Yes you'll spend a little but you'll get back at least the money spent on the wrong bushings to put towards the correct bushings, better than paying for 2 sets of bushings.

Talked to another guy at Summit and thats what I am doing going to replace the bushings I destroyed and get refund. Found the bushings I need are no longer available. Energy suspension said they dont even carry them anymore. The ones sold are either 1 1/14 or 1 1/2 mine are 1 1/8 so looks like I am getting a new lift kit.

If they're referring to part number 3-2112, then I have one thing to say: HORSESHIIT!

I have gotten this number numerous times and will be ordering again. Matter of fact, I checked Summit online and they still show a price and part number.

You should try ordering online instead of over a phone.

Energy Suspension will NOT discontinue this part number as it's a too popular part number to quit.

Go to Summit's site and order online. Fuuck the salesmen you've been dealing with.

what is the main leaf bushing outside diameter and how wide is the spring eye on the springs you have put these on?
I am being told I have a discontinued bushing and that when they was used it was only on s-10s which I find hard to believe

The very forward bushing eye at the very front is larger than the back spring eye and the frame shackle eye. The front bushings are 1.5" and the rears are 1.125".

Superlift and Skyjacker springs use 1.125" on the front also. All the other lift brands use the bigger 1.5" bushings.

OK well I ordered it in the red instead of the black that way it came with the spring pad and all the sleeves and harware. When it gets here we will see if it fits and works. I sure hope so I am so darn tired of trying to figure this all out.

Oh yeah, the width of these bushings (3-2112) are to fit 2.5" wide GM springs.
