H1 o-rings- difference in 12b vs 8b?

I'm almost positive they are the same. Hope that helps!

need to order from mcmaster carr, but could only find dimensions in an article on Pirate for 8bolts. Thanks....anyone else put their 2cents in to help my self esteem on this?

I would call Daniel at USA 6x6, he got my new o rings to me in about 3 days

They are not the same. There are actually two types of telve bolt rims(a3350lb one and a 3850 lbe one) that even use different rings. If some one tries to tell you they are the same, go somewhere else. The twelve bolters actually use a thinner ring of a different diameter than the eight bolts. The two rims are so completely different in design the moment you put the wrong one in, you will realise the difference.b Use the wrong one, and you are guaranteed a leak.

I agree. Im working on getting up pics of the differences between 8 and 12 bolt H1 wheels. The 8 bolts have a ring that comes off the front. The 12 bolts are an entire half of the wheel. The whole front of the rim comes off a 12 bolt. Hope this clears up a few things.

Are these 12b rims marked accordingly if not how do I tell the difference?

Heres a clear pic of a stock 12 bolt that shows what blazd88 is talking about. Like he mentioned, I would think the O rings would be different since they come apart differently than an 8 bolt.

the military versions were stamped on the outer rim piece with the load capacity. Another way to tell is that the 3850lb versions had a 13th hole in them for CTIS line routing through the rim.

This turned out to be more info than I hoped for, had no idea about the two different 12b rims.....Thanks to all who replied!

Ya I have secretly been looking for a set of the 17" aluminium beadlocks(within my budget) but no luck.

12 Bolt H1 Oring 3850 lb

Does anyone know the oring part number for the 3850 lb 12 bolt wheels. One of mine got pinched and I need to replace it.
