H1 wheels are a PITA

Anyone ever had to take stock military tires off H1 wheels? I just bought a set of wheels pretty cheap but I am having a helluva time getting the tires off the rear half of the wheel.

Any tips?

Cut it off. The one I have with a tire on it was glued on.

Tire Iron. Once you get it to start it will pop right off.

You could also put it upside down on a bucket and stand on it. They just get stuck like any tire.

High lift jack your truck with the tire under it to break the bead. Soap and water.

You have to get the tire off of the ground to break the bead loose because of the runflat/beadlock insert inside the H1. The normal highlift method will not work.

Thanks for all the tips! I think I will try the bucket method tonight. I was able to get all the fronts off but can break the bead on the rear.
