Worn them,and don't like'em (other in the bedroom,that's a different story)
Thumbcuffs give me the heeby jeebys....
You ever see the nylon cuffs the cops use? I know a guy from Texas who got very drunk one night and got cuffed with them, around the wrists and the thumbs. A DPS officer I know told me that he got way out of control and managed to break the one on his wrists and then broke a thumb. Couldn't break the thumb ones. Tore up his wrists real bad.
nothing cheaper than a hvac zip tie, does the same thing, and wont break.... i do it to the guys that pass out, and when they get up to piss, they cant, its funny watching them try to unzip their pants with their hands behind them or zipped to the feet also...
now thats just rude
My Smith and Wesson model M-100 cuffs are great. I use them a few times a week, usually in a fight or something. If you gots to have cuffs, and you need them to do your job, don't go cheap, it might cost you your life.
And I'll teach y'all and old Ranger trick.
Zip Cuffs (nylon cuffs) are hella easy to get out of. Once your cuffed, untie your shoes/boots. Tie one end of the lace to your shoe, and hold the other in your mouth, and pull the lace tight. Now run the cuff up and down the lace real fast, you'll wear through the cuffs. With Army issue boot laces, or 550 cord, this takes about a minute.
yea but a good LEO would club him if he caught them doing that
But a good LEO would also have enough cufss for everyone. Zips are normally used to control people who are already in a controled enviroment, or to detain many people at once. In that kind of chaos, I'm sure I could find a minute to myself.
Actually, if we run out of cuffs, it's policy just to shoot everyone else.........................
We don't talk about that. Not now, not ever.
You never saw this thread...
i thought I was the onlyone who said heeby jeeby
